UF Faculty Selected to Attend Global Advocacy Virtual Academy

Dr. Karen Reed, MSN, DHSc, RN, CNE, CNL, CRRN, Clinical Associate Professor, College of Nursing was selected as one of 31 nurses representing 5 countries, to attend the Global Advocacy Virtual Academy coordinated by Sigma, the international honor society of nursing. The six-week academy is designed to advance one's advocacy skill set for application in healthcare and policy development at the UN and globally.

Fall Study Abroad Fair Full of Success and Surprises!

During a non-stop trickle of students visiting program providers representing more than 100 locations across the globe, all participants enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Jordanian Fulbright Scholar Returns to UF to Continue Important Research on Smart Concrete

In Summer of 2021, the International Center hosted four Jordanian Fulbright scholars participating in the Fulbright Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP), a ten-week intensive program focused on environmental sustainability. The program was developed to enhance scholars’ teaching and research skills, as well as establish long term institutional linkages.

UF was honored to host, once again, one of the scholars from Mutah University in Karak, Jordan, Dr. Mohammad Al-Qaralleh, who returned to the US recently and made a stop in the Gator Nation.

Hana Elkady: A Global Gator Applying Meaningful Solutions to Water Issues in Cairo

This past summer, Hana Elkady spent her time in Egypt completing her undergraduate studies through her Sustainability in The Built Environment Senior Capstone project. Egypt is a developing country located in Northeast Africa that connects Africa to the Middle East. It is also Hana Elkady home country in which she lived in until the age of seven and have returned to each summer.
