Dany Rashwan is a Computer Engineering student at the University of Florida (UF), soon to graduate and embark on a promising career in robotics and healthcare innovation. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Dany's unique cultural background has shaped his appreciation for diversity and his approach to problem-solving. His journey into the field of computer engineering began with a fascination for programming, sparked by his interest in photography and the automation of editing processes. Dr. Daeun "Dana" Choi, a UF assistant professor of agricultural and biological engineering at UF's Gulf Coast Research and Education Center was elected to the Management Committee of the Club of Bologna. Dr. Choi will be the youngest member and the only member from the Americas on the committee. The eighty-five full members of the club meet annually in Bologna, Hannover, or Bari to "promote discussions and exchange of experiences among the leading international experts from research, industry and international organizations in the field of agricultural machines and mechanization." UF has a strong tradition of participation and leadership in the club by faculty and alumni.
